Train Fest NorthWest

The 2006 NW Train Fest was once again a great success. This was our biggest fest yet, with an attendence of well over 20 train heads. We started off with a swarming of the Portland LEGO store, then lunch at the food court, followed by the main event at the GPLR clubhouse. They have a sweet arrangement for a great space with the Cedar Hills Crossing mall in Beaverton, Oregon.
At the clubhouse the GPLR gang graciously made us feel right at home. After a short chat-time we moved right into a riotous round of "dirty brickster". Then we heard some great LEGO reports from Dan Parker and Kelly Binkmeister. We finished with draft and a buy/sell/trade time. This was definently a high water mark that we will try and top next year.
